Dance, pottery, chalk drawings, bubblegum sculpture, IMPROV!

The ideas of artistic movements can be expressed using any media. That might be a surrealist cookbook by Salvador Dali, a futurist industrial-core rock album, or a dada urinal.

Join us as we discuss various media of a single art movement, and then contribute to that movement with an improv piece!

What does minimalist improv look like? Or abstract expressionist? Art deco? Harlem renaissance? We’ll have to do some research since we aren’t art historians (I don’t even know what half those I just listed are).

What we do know is improv is art, and we’re excited to explore that with you.
