Leslie Symonds

Leslie Symonds began improvising in college, at the University of Iowa (Paperback Rhino) in 2014. She was lucky enough to compete with them in the National College Improv Tournament, winning the Champion title in 2016. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Genetics and Biotechnology, she moved to St. Louis to start her Master’s in Health Behavior Research at WashU in St. Louis.

Leslie graduated from The Improv Shop Training Center in 2019, and has been improvising, coaching, and writing sketch regularly here since! She’s a part of BRENDA, Idiot Bitch, and a writer and performer with the Gaslight District.
