Boo Kersting

Boo (Detch) Kersting, a St. Louis native, has loved making up songs for as long as she can remember. Her love of songwriting took her to Nashville, Tennessee where Boo studied music business and songwriting at Belmont University and became the official songwriter at the Nashville Comedy Theater. Boo has had the opportunity to study musical improv at The Groundlings (LA), ComedySportz LA, Second City Hollywood, iO West, and the LA Connection Comedy Theater. In 2015, Boo went internationally viral after writing and performing a song about Cadbury Creme Eggs.

Boo is a founding member of The One Four Fives and The High Note, two musical improv groups that perform regularly at the Improv Shop.
