Take advantage of our sweet savings opportunity and apply to be one of The Improv Shop interns.
But what exactly does an intern do? Before the shows, interns clean and set-up
the theater. During shows they act as ticket takers and also help keep the venue
on par throughout the night (menu distribution, wiping down tables, and the like).
They are the eyes and ears that communicate with the box office, and ensure
everything is running smoothly in the theater.
Each intern will be expected to work between 3 and 5 hours a week, depending on
your shift. Each class costs 26 hours. You can “buy” a free class ahead of time and
during the session work off your hours. You and your supervisor track said hours.
